This is baklava. Phyllo dough, chopped nuts & honey/syrup, melted butter & a few baking spices.
If you are curious this is actually the Turkish pastry known as börek, specifically Su böreği (water börek). The name translates to "water börek" because the preparation involves briefly boiling sheets of phyllo dough in salted water before layering them in a pan. It is traditionally filled with a mixture of white cheese (such as beyaz peynir or feta) and parsley. Not everything made with philo is baklava people!
My niece it every year at Christmas, It’s over the top delicious
Feteer Meshaltet, a traditional Egyptian layered pastry. The process involves stretching the dough until it is very thin and then folding it repeatedly with generous layers of clarified butter (ghee) to create a flaky texture. Feteer Meshaltet is often referred to as "Egyptian pie" and can be served plain or filled with sweet or savory ingredients. It has a crispy exterior and soft, chewy layers inside. Common accompaniments for the plain version include honey, molasses, various cheeses, or jam. Observing the traditional preparation, often by farmers' wives in the countryside, is considered an experience in itself, with quick, rhythmic gestures that make the complex process look simple.
Sorry but that’s not baklava.

That doesn’t look like the baklava I ate as a child growing up. Walmart sells it once in a while in the international food section. I thought that was some sort of cabbage dish.
