Had dealer not want to give me what I wanted for my trade in, he told me I could sell it private and make more on it. So I told him he was right, it was worth more so I shook his hand, thanked him and walked out. Never been back.

That’s the opposite of a good deal lmao. On a used 2021. 500 off? Gtfo I will not pay anywhere near what they ask. They will knock thousands off or he needs to walk.
He's only giving the customer $500 off a $30,000 car? I'd ask that salesman how high he is, and then walk out. You know they didn't pay a dime over $20,000, and as a trade in they probably only gave $15k to $16k. I may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night.

did cars should not cost 30 plus $1,000 I mean it's getting so expensive in America just to barely get by it's too much of a struggle LOL I mean so what let's say you take on that car so now you're paying off that $30,000 for how long and how much are they gaining an interest probably an ungodly amount I mean I don't know and even used cars are priced High I mean I don't know what the future is going to look like but if it keeps going this route I don't know who's going to be able to afford to live here
they get them cars dirt cheap at auctions.. I know I got a dealer license so I could do this shit on the side for extra $$ or i charge 250 to take them with me to buy themselves a car

I miss my dealer that finally retired. He only marked up $1500. The cars were always only ONE previous owner and excellent condition. Best of all, no dickering. The posted price is the price. No back & forth. If you want it for the posted price, done deal. Lots of return customers.
