Yes, this is true! Here’s what I found online. Tiny Tim (Herbert Khaury) died from a heart attack (cardiac arrest) on November 30, 1996, after collapsing on stage during a performance in Minneapolis. He had previously suffered a heart attack in September 1996 at a festival in Massachusetts, was hospitalized, and was warned by doctors to stop performing, but he continued to perform at the Minneapolis gala. Final moments: While performing his hit song "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" at the gala, he suffered another heart attack.

Actually Tiny Tim suffered a heart attack on stage and died shortly after, but think of it he died doing something he loved...not every gets that blessing. He used to go on the Howard Stern radio show a lot I found TT strangely likable and quirky, definitely one of a kind!
