All you owe him is the basics. 3 meals a day, roof over there head. I would take everything else away until he learns responsibility for an animal. Wouldn’t take but a day or so for him to wake up and realize all the extras you give him in this world, and put a tracker on the dog so you would know exactly were he went. We, as parents want to give them more. But if it is not earned take it back!
