30 percent? get off the meth
how about I just don't give a tip and I save more money for my family to spend on them..
if the pre tip is already on the receipt I will not pay the bill until its removed...I will pay you an hourly minimum wage pay for serving me...never tip according to the amount I spend ,only by the amount of time I spend there.
being a server at a restaurant to me is a highschool or college job if you need tips to survive hmm maybe look for a different job food prices are already too high to be just throwing out extra ..I don't get tips if I do I good job and go above and beyond because it's my fucken job so if you're not making enough money time to be an adult and find a new job it's that simple
I decide what to tip you, not the other way around.
ummm no. you get $4-10, I don't care how much money I spend. don't like it? to bad.
Please be aware. You don't tip on the total amount that includes tax. You tip on the total amount before the tax, then add the tax back on at the end. That's the proper way to tip.
I tip well... but I am not giving you 30%
Who’s giving a 30% tip? 10% is normal 20% for great service. I have never ever left a 30% tip! That’s outrageous to expect that kind of tip.
How much does your restaurant charge if I swipe my card?
Well i'm just getting old I guess. I figure 10% until the bill hits a $100. And then it's just ten dollars, max
I have an idea, go get an adult job and let the 17 18 and 19 year olds wait tables.
what have you been smoking? 30 percent ? you have lost your mind ..
$5......no matter the amount
Most of Europe got it right, tip is built into the price, if you want to give extra, totally up to you. Nobody likes being told how much to tip .....
must be posting trying to guilt people into tipping much more. they want to make more money than the average customer per hour!! no way I'd tip 30% unless isn't a holiday meal!
I never tip your employer pays you I don't if you can't make ends meet get a real job
0% tip is the NORM, you work because you live serving others. You don't work for tips, period. Tips are always OPTIONAL and are given for EXCEPTIONAL NON NORMAL service and vary from 5%-20% depending on how you felt about the service you received. 👍🙏👍🙏👍🙏👍🙏👍🙏👍👍
at the end of the day it's their bosses responsibility to pay them the customer didn't hire them so a tip shouldn't be expected
I see the 10 dollars on a hundred dollar bill but 30? no way lady
I tip what I think is fair. if the server is not so good that's the tip they get not so good. I rarely eat out it so expensive. and for a server to be rude, or disrespectful about a tip. makes me want to eat out less. that's what pizza and burger joints are for. you don't need to tip them
if the service is good. I leave $1 for every $10 I spend
literally one of the least skilled jobs and they want doctor wages. makes you want to tip less
30 percent 😲 um no! 20 percent is my max!
First you insult us, then tell us to leave a 30% tip. No. But I will consider eating out less at 0% tip for the insult.
yea we should all stop eating anywhere people beg for extra money if we dont like when homeless people do it
25% max and the food better be good
hell no. 15% maybe 20 if the server was really good.
I do always tip. but to get a 30% tip i would need an after dinner hummer
tipping is a choice not a right
For a 30% tip you better be doing a lot more than bringing me food. If you can't do your job without expecting a better than average tip, you should get a different job.
Everywhere I go the server starts off at 15% depending on how good or bad you are. it will either stay or change 5% %2B/ - this video was brought to you apparently by a bad server who expects 30% tips
who taught them how to multiply?😆😆😆
Shouldn't we pay for time & not %. Just because I want steak instead of hamburger...should I be required to pay MORE for the same service? I can take up a table for hours with a bowl of soup & tip $3. 🤔 A good waiter deserves a decent tip, but so many are so substandard, serve food cold, in the wrong order or food not correct. It ruins an expensive meal...., few offer to compensate for their screw-ups & management is totally oblivious. Tips are a recognition of good service & not a requirement if service isn't good.
I tip what ever I think you worked for. do you really think I'm going to tip 30%of my bill just because you brought me one drink? I don't think so!!
the reality is they the server should be paid a living wage.
Getting tired of seeing How We Should Tip. Figuring a tip is easy. I was in waffle house yesterday with my wife. Our bill was $27 even. 10% is $2.70, double is $5.40 . We left $33. On the other hand we went to Olive Garden 2 weeks ago. The bill was $36. we left $4 because the waitress let our drinks empty and forgot extra napkins I asked for.
Server's walk your plate from the kitchen to your table, and you want $32.00 bucks
They should only be tipped if you’re provided great service
Are you high? I am not giving ANYONE a 30% tip, period.
30 per cent? don't think so.
Times two if you're good
I dare you to write that down in front of your customers and hand it to them! 😆😆😆😆
I like to tip like they use to back in the 20s. $5 get me a decent table. $20 make my food quick and a private table. $100 don't tell my wife I'm here.
No flipping way
20% is a sufficent tip......
i tip by service, you get what you work for, i be damn if i spend a bill and can only get 1 drink and no service, tip accordingly
If your server doesn't serve, you owe nothing! Right?
i feel it's not my responsibility to pay someone else's wage . ask for a raise or quit .
I will not leave a 30% tip unless it’s exceptional service. Standard for standard service is 20%.
My husband and I went to an expensive restaurant in our hometown, we had 3 stink bugs crawl across our table WHILE we was eating, we called our waitress over to discreetly tell her the situation, all she said was “They’re coming from outside, I’ve already killed 2 on this table behind you” Do you think that waitress got a tip, ABSOLUTELY NOT!! I think there’s a lot of things that factor into whether they get a good tip or not… service, promptness, being friendly, just overall common courtesy… a waitress can determine if they want to give good service and I totally get it if the customers before us effected how she serves us, but that shouldn’t be the case… we always tip at least 15%
the total is wrong too
Nope....15-20%
I tip only what I feel they have earned...
15% is standard. maybe a little more if you tie up a table and don't spend much.
So 20% is a good tip, and the reason you’re waiting on tables is, you don’t times anything you MULTIPLY .
How about just using the VAT system that a majority of Europe uses! If a menu item is 14.99 then thats total cost without TAX but tip already in the price.
yeah no.
