I don't understand why the daughter isn't being charged with elderly abuse, knowing the mother's not in her right state of mind. WHY is she living alone?

I’m thinking the daughter has put the couple out of her mothers house. And they just realized that their mother had opened the door ( unknowingly) so they were going to take over the house without their knowledge. Glad they check in on her regularly. I personally would have a caregiver 24/7 just bcuz she is not in her right frame of mind. But I can hear the lady asking not to be recorded. And the daughters are telling them that can drop them off somewhere else and fast. But I can tell you they are not welcome to stay with their mother. Stay vigilant and always check in on the elderly bcuz this country has become a take take take country. Just keep your elders safe.

My friend thank goodness the neighbor called her right away. Her Dad let 4 people move into his home. She called the bank manager first froze accounts. They had already got $500 from ATM. Lucky her former husband police officer. He and another car showed up. They got out right away thank goodness. Wound up hiring “companion” for him.

I'm not too sure what's going on here but if your mama is 87 with dementia why are you living with her to care for her or already hired round the clock nursing support? There is absolutely no reason any turmoil should happen at her home unless she's doing it. Just know that question was just to be polite because I know that if I could care for my family, my mother (59, neuroblastoma) while she was dying, my grandmother (82, dementia) in her home and my father (61, AML) as he was passing.... all in the span of 3 years (age: 39-42).... you can have everyone out of your mama's house and care for her yourself. This is disgusting

I don't understand why she's living alone if her dementia is life threatening. I moved from Florida to Philadelphia to keep my mom out of a nursing home.

if she is a 87yr old with dementia then why are you allowing her to stay at home without any care??

Some people will take advantage of others and not think twice about it. Hopefully the daughter got some one to take care of her if she can't.

if the mother has dementia and is not safe to live by herself either you can take her into your home or have someone come that is trained to help - But for one thing sure is to make that house safe ( put door alarms on ALL OUTSIDE DOORS, have her wear a bracelet that gives her name, address, a emergency phone number in case she manages to get outside and lost in a neighborhood)and in a worst case scenario she may need to go to a lockdown nursing home where there is a Nurse and CNAs to care for her-BUT DO CHECK OUT THE NURSING HOME (make sure it has no tags on it from the state surveyors)and visit often unannounced to see how they are treating her.

MY BEAUTIFUL MOTHER PASSED AWAY FROM DEMENTIA. SO MANY PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR ELDERS WITH DEMENTIA I I THINK IT'S A TERRIBLE THING TO DO THAT. BUT LIKE THE LADY SAID TOO MUCH OF THIS IS GOING AROUND. MY MOM IS IN HEAVEN WATCHING OVER ME AND I FEEL HER EVERY NIGHT. HER PRESENCE IN MY LIFE HELP ME GET THROUGH THE DAY. GOD BLESS THE FAMILY THAT SAVED THIS BEAUTIFUL LADY.🥰🥰🥰🥰👍🙏
