at least it was daylight I lost my husband and dog at night my husband was merging onto the freeway and lost control and hit the middle cocreat barrier and it turned the van facing the opposite direction well we had our other 3 dogs as well but they were kenneled 2 in. one and 1 in another stacked on top of one another they were little chihuahuas and all males but my support dog was a female so my husband jumps out and leaves the driver side door open mind you it was approximately 2:45 an I was not with him so he left the door open and I'm sure my girl was freaked out so she gets out looking for my husband and then he realizes she's on the freeway so he goes to get her and a 82 yr old lady hits them and kills them I'll tell you that my mom had died not even a yr before then my husband and my support animal and it's been down hill for me I've just about lost all my friends from dying and it's taken a toll on my brain so

Having tried unsuccessfully to run down a number of dogs, I have one recommendation: sit down and call quietly.. When it becimes clear to a canine that it is not a game of chase, they will usually come back.
Proud had the window open enough for it to jump out. I hope they got him. I saw a terrible scene some years ago , 2 beautiful Dalmatians jump out on the highway n get killed. My brother does the same thing n says oh she don’t jump out. Well you don’t know that !
