These four deaths by suicide are considered to be related to the trauma of the event, just to show how UNINVOLVED Trump was, Donald Trump has not publicly recognized the specific police officers who died in the aftermath of the January 6 attack for their service related to that day. Instead, his public comments have often downplayed the violence of the event, referred to the rioters as "patriots" or "hostages," and focused on the idea that no one died during the attack itself.
