So sad. Global warming is real. Glaciers are melting people. I don’t care how damn cold it is up north. It’s warm enough to melt enormous glaciers that have been frozen for millions of years. Unbelievable how stupid people are.

Alright.....I think We have all contributed to Global Warming. Not just One Idiot President ! Have you ever wondered Why Archeologists are Finding multiple items from previous Cultures that were left in the Glacial Passes well over thousands of years ago. Maybe ybe, just maybe there was Global Warming well before any Fossil Fuels were ever burned ! Just out of curiosity, Have you ever wondered about the amount of poisonous gasses, CO2, Ash is pumped into our Atmosphere every time a Volcano erupts ? The Heating and Cooling of the Earth has been happening since Our Planet has come into existence ! Have you ever driven through Ancient Volcanic Regions ? Take a drive up Hwy 395 on the Eastern side of the Sierras. If you you open your Eyes, you'll see ancient Lava Flows that may have sent Our Beautiful Planet either into an Ice Age or a Global Warming Event ! Yes We All Need to Reduce our Footprint on Our Planet. But don't forget to look around and observe what our Planet has already done.

People, "calving" is a natural phenomena that happens every spring and summer when the weather warms up enough in Alaska for some of the ice to break off from a glacier. Totally natural and has nothing to do with "global warming"!
calving is normal behavior for glaciers as the flow towards the sea. Try Google before you speak.

I am an artist. I never could really say I had a favorite color. I do now! Flew by helicopter to the top of Mendenhall glacier. It's that color!
why is it always an American thing? other countries run HUGE companies pumping out tons of polution with zero regulation...yet America gets blamed..and nobody says or does anything to these other countries!
I went to live on Mt. Hood for a few years. I saw a mailbox stuck about 12' up a telephone pole. Finally, I asked about it and was told that 10 years earlier, THAT'S where the snow was to get your mail. By the time I was there, the snow line had been moved a 1/4 mi up the mountain! The glacier covered close to half the mountain - good for ski resorts - and military maneuvers, training, in the summer. I left 4 1/2 years later and there was very little glacier left, maybe 1/4 on the one side. The question is if this is natural changes - or are WE causing it or adding to it?

Global warming at it's most catastrophic. Polar bears are drowning and starving to death. They will be EXTINCT in five years and all of this suffering and terrible loss around the globe is at least 90% human-caused. I am so ashamed of our selfish, greedy, stupid species!!!
