I have a dog that way n she was with her brother for a long time when we first got them n he took everything away from my little girl. She was food aggressive n I was afraid she was going to choke on her food after her brother left to live with my daughter. So I bought one of those bowls that looked like a puzzle inside of it. It did slow her down but when he was around she couldn’t play catch with him bc he would go crazy to get the ball when I threw it. Now she won’t even play ball.

The kitten was probably not particularly hungry &/or it was not among his favorites. My father loved the big cats of Africa, where he'd spent years. He'd said their favorite food was fresh raw liver. He tried to get them to become vegetarians by combining protein- rich soybean curd (tofu) with healthy oils. They turned their noses up at it. It could be than their (limited) digestive systems had needed a more technically-oriented (artificial) mix. Maybe something like that might be possible today. it'd be nice to find out, if we could somehow satisfy their culinary and nutritional needs on plant life.
