I never ask. The person could be bloated or heavy around the middle. The person could've just lost a baby. Why bother a person that you don't know? If she is pregnant, why put your hands on a pregnant woman's belly? It doesn't do her any good.

I took my son to the doctor when he was a baby in the doctor look like she was 9 months pregnant I asked her when she was due and she said I'm not pregnant I just about died I felt terrible she said she had a stomach condition

Was in a shoe store with a friend. I had on a dirndale skirt. They accentuate the stomach area. I wasn't heavy, but always had a small belly. I was standing while my friend tried on the shoes. The salesman suggested I sit and pointed to my abdomen. I giggled and said "I'm not pregnant, but thank you". He couldn't have been more embarrassed.
