Same problem here. My dog a Shih Poo goes after my Russian Blue cat. I tell the dog to make good choices and he never does. Everyday several times a day it's like wrestle mania. I purchased a collar that has a remote with noise and different vibration patterns, does not have the shock option because I don't believe pain is the answer to any problem. Now if the cat scratches or bites him back and he yelps that's on him he started it. They're about the same size, the dog looks bigger but he's all fur.
Why point at the dog? That cat is ready to get it on.
why would you want to have a dog and a cat ain't no they do not get along you trying to make them get along but somebody going to get hurt in the long run

Mel. I’ve had Dogs and Cats at the same time all of my life. They didn’t fight. They were all raised together from birth with them being together with no fighting. It can be done when they all think that they were supposed to be together. My Dogs both died at the ages of 15 years old. 5 of my Cats died at 18 years old and the last two lived until they were 22 years old. The Dogs had the same kind of Cancers and the Cats died of old age with the last two Cats dying of really old ages. No pain at all for my Cats. I had the Dogs go through 2 different surgeries but after the last surgeries, when they seemed to be suffering, I had them put down. Broke my Heart. BUT when they all lived together they never fought. People seem to think that Cats and Dogs can’t live together when that’s so far from the truth given my circumstances.

My granddaughter found a stray cat and brought it to my house. It’s only for a few days and he’s got to stay inside till I come back and get her. I have a pitty a dachshund and a Maltese. I’m like I don’t know how that’s going to work but that cat walked in with no fear. And they had no problem even the dachshund ( he’s the boss) she had a cat bed so when we go to bed the dogs sleep with me we all on the fed and the cat comes in and jumps fight in the middle of the of them. Dogs just looked at him. Went to the store next day but him in the bedroom. Come home he laying in the floor with the dogs. Long story short the door to my bedroom is now about 8 inches shorter than it was when I left

I have a precious 15 year old 12 pound Shih Tzu, I recently got my son's 3/4 year old rescue cat. He is a very big cat, whiie it has only been 2 weeks they eat their respective food side by side since day one.
Maddy whip her but for me. Darn cat. We got 2 of the same cats I only like one of them.

I have a Husky/German Shepherd, a Rottweiler n 4 cats the Rottweiler is always just chilling with the cats but the Husky her has 2 b n full control of us all, if my cats even play 2 much Bella my Husky will stop it scold them all n separate them but her raised 2 of my cats her is a precious mommy ❤️
