thank God he lived. this is why cops are the way they are sometimes. seemingly tyrannical but it's just fear, and they need to control the situation for assured survival. they do go too far sometimes and power is abused and people get hurt or die. it's an unfortunate reality. we need to support our police as much as we can. they have families and need to go home at night too. on the other hand they need to be held accountable for any illegal acts committed. tough job. extreme patience and intelligence combined with rigorous training is a must
