This is why I don’t trust fast food establishments
thats why i fire my cooks no warnings when they pull out their phone. Those phones have so many toxic materials in them that will melt in the fryer that the whole vat of oil has to be dumped. Been there done that. Anyone that argues differently i guarantee hasnt dumped their oil after this happened and served you contaminated food

Ironically people at restaurants will play with their phone and then fix your food like that phone isn't in your hands every time you're using the toilet, during sex or touching or taking sexual pics. The phone is never cleaned or sterilized making it just as nasty as the knobs on the sink that everyone touches after using the toilet but before they washing their hands.

in my last years of working in catering this was a problem when I was trying to train new cooks. I would tell them put away the phone if I caught them using it anyway I demoted them back to washing pots and dishes a pay decrease.
