I think these are all suggestions you can do to help if you are separated from your children or if you are buried. I agree that all of the preparations she is making takes a lot of time, I think people who are in the most prone states have, or should have plans and protocols in place already. Maybe go bags, survival plans. It is a bit hard to plan if you do not have a bunker, basement or shelter. When a storm comes and takes your home and you have nothing, a go bag and survival kits won't help. Prayer is the only answer. I am very curious as to why Southern homes dont have basements? I live in PA and have 124 year old home and I have an old stone laid one. Its 5' high, but i would trust it in a tornado.

I’m gonna be honest… If a tornado take that baby away, that baby girl ain’t gonna be able to use your credit card, her passport, and phone number. The best thing to do is have that baby in your arms the whole time… thank goodness I moved away from any tornado threat! Never again will I go through that. Three of my neighbors bodies were found three miles away in different trees.
I wish we can make this a law that every child would have to have an apple tag on them it would make life so much easier for a lot of parents for children or getting kidnapped out here you have a quicker way of finding them oh my God I wish we could make this a law that every child has to have an air tag attached to them

I live in Oklahoma where we have tornadoes even in October and November and I would get made fun of (by my husband 😆) for putting bicycle helmets on our kids when they were little and the sirens were going off that one had been spotted!

i live in Michigan and a year ago, I was watching my then 1 year old granddaughter when a tornado suddenly touched down 2 miles from my house at 1am, when I tell you I had her snuggled so safely in the tub, she didn't even wake up 😭 I was in full blown panic mode, the tornado took out a styrofoam factory the next block over and then disappeared, I watched it from my kitchen window, will never forget that night
over doing it. I live where we have tornado season. I slept straight thru most, or stood outside and watched.
