I been with my wife for 38 years. Over the years we both worked and were struggling the whole time. For the past ten years I am the only one bringing home an income but she works just as hard as I do taking care of the house, our pets and me. She’s completely in charge of all the bills and handling the money. We have never ever said my money or your money. We have been a team from day one. We have never argued over money.

On his side…my partners pay check goes to rent WiFi basically everything in the house his other personal bills like child support health care insurance..then I use mine for car insurance,food, shopping for necessities, phone bill. And using whatever I have for bills as well if needed…we share everything..I’m also the type to ask him about buying things like hey will we will have enough for me to get this too? He’s better at math in his head…we do pay our own phone bill tho…bc he is set up with his brother and aren’t on the same plan which is okay…

From day one with my wife I worked and she stayed home, took care of whatever we were living in and raised the kids. I always told her the paycheck from my job was hers not mine. Not once did I ever say mine or yours… it was always ours…if I die first it’s hers…lol
