And here I thought the possums I was feeding were cute… vicious little creatures. I haven’t seen them since that night. It’s been months. Maybe the coyotes in the neighborhood got them.

They will compete for food as witnessed. But they have redeeming factors, they eat all manner of bugs, ticks, fleas, roaches, and grubs and slugs. They do not carry diseases and are immune to rabies. They have babies 4 at a time and the babies are all the same sex. When I get home late night and see one in my yard, I’m glad to see it cruising my flower beds.
