The first time my husband went to hit me and I ducked, he hit a beam in the wall and ended with a compound fracture in his hand. After that night I told him he will never have an opportunity to do that again. Walked out, bought a one way ticket to Colorado and stayed there.
The majority of these women go back to these men in a few weeks. I hope she is the one to break that statistic. 😢

If I hadn’t witnessed a woman that had been beaten over and over by her boyfriend and would always go back, I could never understand why, She would always come over after she had been beaten and kind of all of her friends would treat her like oh my God I can’t believe that you gotta call the cops. She never would call the cops after this happened at least once a week for a three or four weeks she didn’t come over to a pity party. She came over to some rugged truth. There was no more feeling sorry for her. We told her and she knew it was in her control. I I hope she’s doing well. I could witness this anymore. She wouldn’t help herself.

I had a friend who was 23. She took out an order of protection on her boyfriend. He said boy he was going to take her life. She went to the port authority in NY and bought a bus ticket to a place he couldn’t find her. As she was boarding the bus he shot her in the head. She passed away instantly. Unfortunately, he didn’t take his life too.
