Had one, wolf dog hybrid. Litter was found next to deceased wolf mother, in deep woods. There was a pack of feral or formerly domesticated dogs that were running with the wolf pack. Mine was silver colored, named her Silver. She had those intense, slanted, wolf eyes, like this creature, kinda scary looking but she was never other than sweet and well-behaved. She got surprisingly big though. I did Schutzhund (now IGP) training with her. She never behaved in an alarming way but 2 of her male littermates had to be put down for aggressive behavior. Wolves Cannot be domesticated, they are missing a gene or something, that allows for that. I was encouraged to be vigilant with my Silver but she, tho Very protective of Me, would listen to me and back down from actually attacking. Unless given the signal. I did Schutzhund training with her, now called IGP, and she Excelled at it. We think her sire was likely a big, dominant German Shepherd seen running with the pack. LOVED that dog. Miss her.

My stepfather and two of his buddies killed a wolf; then they found out it had three pups. They each took one. We named ours Sheba. At that time, we lived in a logging camp. The cook shack was next to our home, but we had a wooden walkway to keep us out of the mud. My mother had to use a wheelchair. If anyone else was on the walkway, Sheba would push them off the walkway so my mother could get through.

lived in Ulster County. neighbor saw what he thought was a wolf dog running free between our properties. found the animal asleep on my rear deck...looked atvm it through a mirrored slider, it had yellow eyes but did not show aggression. I wanted it but my wife was to frightened so i didn't try to catch it. ended up with Jessica, my dear departed lab/malamute. some thought she was a wolf mix!

I used to go to a farm in Indiana where they had two wolves and one of the wolves escaped attacked a man who lived there and if it wasn't for this little dog that he always called stupid rascal who saved him while fighting off the wolf while the man went and got a shotgun and killed the wolf they're called wild animals for a reason people

we have a wolf dog pack on our farm .mama was to Yong to be having a litter, and she had been hit by a car on a road one night. we got her to a vet, and by the time her puppies came, we had spent so much time with her that she had accepted us as part of her pack ❤️ .. She had 4 very tiny babies, but they are huge now ..all are fixed and have hundreds of acres to roam but always come home at night

as child we had a wolf dog. He was the most loving and caring fur-baby. He once jumped the fence to protect a neighbor's child from being attacked by a stray dog. Our Petey was huge next to the stray. The stray ran in seeing him. Everyone loved Petey.

When I was a kid my Grandfather's sister and her husband, my Aunt Marie and Uncle Jesse had a beautiful dog that was half wolf and was very beautiful but whenever anyone, including family knocked on their door, he would always answer the door with them and be between them and the door every time as a protector but was never aggressive towards any family or friends. I never saw him go after or harm anyone but I was never around if a stranger would've knocked instead. I only know he was very protective of family and loved playing with the kids that came to their door. It's not so much of the breeding or bloodline of ANY dog, it's how they're raised.

I remember my uncle came to visit us from Minnesota years ago and brought his hybrid wolf/ dog. He was absolutely gorgeous and so big. He found him as a pup and thought he was just a dog until he started growing and getting that wonderful thick fur. The vet told him what he was. I believe he had him for about 14 years.

Looks to me like an American Blue Bay Shepherd, which i have one. the creator and breeder of this beautiful Shepherd is in Florida. All states have different laws pertaining to any amount of wolf in their heritage. these dogs are kind and loving.

Looks like a Blue Bay Shepard. It's a newer breed, still in development. Same eyes....same wolf look, and legal to own.

My husband bought one from a man that had the mom&Dad in his house. He invited my husband &I into his home to see them. I stopped out of fright because they was huge and very frightening. And he showed my husband how tamed they were . But after we got our we couldn't keep him in the house. He killing rabbits and other animals and bring them home .Then he started killing cats. I told my husband he had to something about it. about a week latter he got sick &he took it to the vet. the vet freaked out because it was woof & Dog mixed and she couldn't give any shots for anything because it's a woof. And he was sick because a woof has to breed a lot more than a dog would . And told its against the law to own him. by my husband got him before they out lawed them . we finally gave to the zoo.

The wolf, the dog, whatever you’re talking about he’s sitting there he’s not loving he’s just watching people go past. I don’t know why everybody thinks that every wolf in the whole wide world wants to eat you that’s not natural just you know if the dogs under the control of the wolf is under control whatever it is leave it alone don’t go there if you’re afraid of it just stay away from it the man sitting there is got the dog, the wolf dog or whatever he is totally under control

when I lived out I had a double fence around my place for the dog and security..one night I came home and my double heavy gates were pushed so hard one side was off the track..and I could see my big dog in the other yard. the. I saw two bigger dogs with him...one was a beautiful golden wolf hybrid..huge ..I'm 5'7" and he easily would stand taller...he seemed friendly..I told my dog to go to deck..the other wolf hybrid was black and silver he was more aggressive and I was very careful not to engage with him..I had the other with me who was smelling me..I'm. a hairdresser and I come home with many smells on me..my dog does the same..the black one came slowly to me and tried to get very cloy..the other got in between and pushed me through the gate..where I slowly as they started to slow dominance to each other..got to get up deck and my dog and I got inside..I didn't go outside till morning and they were gone...I never saw them again..they could have killed my dog

They are not hybrids. Hybrids are when you combine two different species and get offspring. They are simply wolf dogs. They’re beautiful but not for everyone.

It's said you can domesticate a wolf but it takes 7 generations in a domestic setting for them to become more like what we know as human & family companion dogs of today. What people don't realize is that the Wolf is the original dog
