The lady comes from a culture that eats REAL food..US uses all sorts of chemicals, dyes, weird stuff...so the American food is NASTY to many different countries..I'm old school & I remember when fresh fruit, veggies, honey, beef jerky stAnds were everywhere on the roadside. Asians prefer their own food. What I do with my Asian friends is just give them the food I want them to cook like a ham for Christmas or a turkey for Thanksgiving and they cook it in their own style. This way you don't waste food that they won't eat.
