Way at the beginning of his career, I ran into Danny, we had trenches open with barricades and caution tape so people wouldn’t drive into a trench. I saw a car trying to drive through the barricades, so I ran over yelling at the driver to stop. As I got close I saw who it was, because he had just come out with Mel Gibson in a movie…..it was Danny, he was stunned at what happened and then he apologized. In all my years in construction I have never had anyone do what he did.
