I had a pet cow she was a Black and White Holsteen. She was huge The top of her back was 5'9"" her head the size of a #3 washtub. She was raised by my nephews. if you got in a football kickoff position she would jump all around! she played ball like that and when her horn would pop it she would get the funniest look on her face! She was so funny. we kept 2 balls at all timesπ₯° Her name was Sweety but her nickname was the Horned Bit-hπ Miss her she kept the trees trimmed up 7ft off the ground! she loved hackberry leavesπ. Animals are so smart!

We had a 2500 lb ox. Jerry went through a really tough hoof trim. I drew circles on his forehead and talked to him the whole time. When the vets were finished and he got off the table,Jerry gave me a cow hug. He walked up to me and positioned himself so that his shoulder was even with me. Then Jerry curled his neck around me. Amazingπ

When I was two years old, I somehow got away from my mother and my older sisters, and made it all the way over to the bullpen which was about 50 yards from the house. I climbed in. I walked over to the bull who was laying down, my mother said that she found me curled up, sleeping up against the Bull near his front flank. She was terrified. This bull was known to be a big mean vicious animal, who would go after anyone and anything that came into his pen. She finally got me to wake up, and I walked back over to her the bull never standing up until I was back through the fence. As soon as I was away from the fence, he charged it to get my mother away from his pen.π

Most are pretty docile and enjoy just roaming and chewing grass. Yesterday I almost hit a bull on highway 140 because he was on the side eating grass in the ditch.
how this makes me feel inside:
When I was young, my grandpa had a brahma bull that loved to play. The horses had a big, thick inflated rubber ball. The horses would share their toy with the bull and cows; they'd knock it over the fence to each other. I guess they were all all a little odd, the horses would take apples and pears that dropped into the pasture from the trees, eat some, and carry some to the cows, calves first, usually, and sometimes over to the pigs. Grandpa got irritated because it messed with the carefully regulated diet they had. I though it was frigging adorable!
If only humans realized the wonderfully intelligent and loving animals with which we share this world. God gave us dominion to care for them. This beautiful video shows us exactly how!!!β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

BIG Mfrs looks like a Got Damn Bison!! πββοΈ Its crazy though, because I grew up on a farm and watching them sent like a flood of memories of my childhood. They really are like big playful puppies if you treat them right. I have also seen the opposite of this on farms where peoples did NOT treat their animals with respect. A Bull of this size can damn neat taken a barn down when its angry. I have seen them roll skid steers and tractors when they get pissed like it was nothing. If two Bulls want it each other there isn't mich you can do to stop them. It gets scary. I quickly learned why farms would only have ONE bull. Or have them separated bye different barns, different pastures. Most now dont even screw with Bulls. They either go with Artificial insemination or pay somebody to bring in certain genetics to breed then take them back with them.

In our busy, chaotic sometimes self absorbed lives we forget there are people, animals just waiting for a little attention/acknowledgement from us. Whether it's a stranger, friend etc. some dog needs a pat on the head, a kid needs a "good job!" Or a simple "Hi" π
no one wants to play alone. 2 legged, 4 legged, we all need interaction, and we want to feel that someone out there will take a few moments out of their day to notice us. πΈ
Ohhh that melts my heartβ€οΈ that is so kind of the guy playing with him, and I bet that bull waits every day for him to come and throw him the ball, see it don't take 10 seconds to be kind and make some one day better.

I would play ball like that with my horse. Ali Hadji would push the ball back to me. We would play with traffic cones, too. He loved tipping them over. One afternoon someone had set up a pattern in one end of the arena. Hadji got in there a few seconds before me and rearranged one or two of the cones. π₯°π₯°π₯°

Yes they are smart have feelings get depressed get happy cry and throw temper tantrums just like a child. People donβt see them as that tho and itβs sad.
