My buddy had a female cougar on a chain , she was in heat and I walked over to pet her she was friendly but she grabbed my leg with both paws and bit my leg not hard enough to break the skin but it scared the hell out of me
So go to the mountains and catch you one and bring it home 😲

I see SO MANY people on here saying how a "wild animal should not be kept in captivity such as a house with people".... to say that goes to show that you are making a judgement on something that you Don't have ALL the info on... Sadly there are some animals that have been hurt in the wild and are better off being cared for by humans. i do agree that wild animals should not be held in captivity for it will change the Spirit of the animal, but there are instances where being kept in captivity IS the Best thing for the animal....
Does it look like this Puma is in danger or Not in love with it's humans?! This cat is the one that has Adopted the humans, not the other way around... Check your resources BEFORE making such a judgement... NOT EVERYTHING is as it looks...

There’s nothing wrong with loving an animal that you aided when they were young but they belong to animals of their own species. If you keep them any longer than what’s necessary you may be depriving them what is natural for them. If you keep them longer than necessary then they may not live a fulfilled life with their own kind. If they return back to you it is meant to be.🥰😲👍🏼🙏🏼💕💕💕

yes but,,, even a house cat will attack a person.... most cougars will not hurt the owner. years ago out in WY, ID.. some there out there a guy broke into a house that had a pet cougar at home, crook gets halfway through the window, cat comes to investigate.. crook gets to exit the window and it falls down on him, trapping him half out... the cougar slapped him around playing with him like a cat does a mouse till home owner came home...

No no, it’s more closely related to a lion then a house cat. The feline species has two subfamilies, felinae and pantherinae. Felinae consists of things like house cats, bobcats, caracals and even cheetahs. Pantherinae on the other hand has most of the big cats like lions, tigers, jaguars and leopards. All that to say, cougars are pantherinae
