a typical Union situation one person working 25 people standing around watching
Fast-Tube is a high-strength polyethylene fabric used to form round concrete columns and pilasters. It comes in rolls of 50–120 ft and standard diameters of 8–20 in. Sustainable: Can be recycled as an underslab membrane Water resistant: Can be set up before the concrete pour Cost-effective: Saves on labor costs due to quick setup and stripping Minimal waste: Can be cut to exact length from the roll, unlike cardboard tubes Green building product: Made from high-strength polyethylene
they look like "DANG how did he figure that out, was so simple"🤔
cutting that form off of mud that's still wet won't work.
its not set yet.
go vertical and it will fail.
Im pretty sure its a Chinese Labor Union hit squad, demonstrating ways to dispose of trouble makers.
every product goes through testing
They mix shredded fiberglass with the concrete which eliminates a lot of the rebar and wire ( not all) and also add calcium which makes it dry faster. The more calcium, the shorter dry period.
shows how strong the concrete holds together while still uncured, obvious test or demonstration. but I'm guessing lol
Its woven tube for concrete pillars instead of the cardboard pillars that are much heavier and costly.
perhaps he was demonstrating accelerators used to shorten the set time of the concrete. An oversized slump test
now stick a vibe in there
I see this saving me money very soon. Cardboard tubes are expensive
its a great idea. We call them case-ons that are typically made from cardboard yes. I wonder how easy it would be to place these around steel cages that go inside the columns though. It would be difficult to ensure proper coverage and clearance around the cages without some sort of collars that ensure non movement during concrete placement.
Videos should have explanations 🙏🤔.
yes bc while one person is doing the job, we need 2 cameramen, and thirty people watching him cut something.
Great. Now you need a union carpenter.
Ooooo !! Pretty cool ?? The concrete isn’t set up ! See those Chinese contractors? Always trying to steal ideas 👊🇺🇸
it looks like they're on the company lot not a job site. In addition to the rock bays behind them and the mixer truck you can see the conveyor and other equipment in the background
Add some CaCl to it. It’ll flash.
to me it seems like as if the are trying a newer way to make a piller cuz he simply said it's only held by a two by four and not expensive other materials used to make upright pillers
looks like it was just poured. Concrete truck is right there. So don't know what is going on here. I know he is trying to say the mix is too watery but is he given it more than 5 minutes? Some context please.
It's basically woven fiber, much lighter than cardboard so when you fill it up it's like filling a plastic bag. that's why you need a support on the side. but you can see at the very bottom there's going to be issues with support
You got a problem on your hands.
Cut it upwards.
what was the slump ?
touch it where you cut it
it is a type of tubing you can use like pilings or to pour concrete pillars and it only takes a board or two to hold them up. it is also a type of barrier that will withstand the pressure of that much weight with just one two by four even when it is 90% disconnected from the rest of the material.
so how many have gone to the website 🤓
so I take it the concrete's too wet, and that's why it's leaking out when it cuts it.
that releases the water from the cement for it to set properly !
must have been a very interesting sight 🤔
thats incorrect my freind
Looks like the city workers
that is a concrete fail lmao
Side note: Dude’s cut looks pretty damn straight to me
slump is 48
What if you slice down?
they're checking the core.
Poor lump sample before they poured
only a 2x4 and snap off without bending an old trucks bumper lololol
wrap your belt around it if you don't have a pipe wrap and line it up where it overlaps that way you have a straight line
