I grew up as a harbor rat in Bellmore longisland . We could swim FOREVER . We did crazy shit all the time all around water . Watersking , snorkeling , beaches , fishing, clamming . This is nothing !!!!! Life perseveres don't need to be worn !!!!!! Geeze bet 95% of the people that commented with BS live landlocked !!!! I grew up and still live on an island . Worked with someone who's Son was out with friends on a boat, they had bin drinking and 1 of them went to jump off the back and instead of the driver going forward he put in reverse! You can imagine what happened to the individual that went under the blades, yep a family lost a son!

my kids grew up in Myrtle Beach and they were never really big big on the ocean but they love to swim in the Santee and when it rained it would get really Swift. so one day the group of eight friends that have been good together since basically kindergarten and they were around 15 16 went out skateboarding and then they decided to tie a rope under my youngest son's arms and tie it to the dock and throw him in to see if he could make it back to the dog by himself. and they swim in the Santee I'm like but there's alligators and they're like you don't mess with them they don't mess with you. my youngest ones now 30 and they still go swimming in the Santee. kayaking fishing and camping.🥰
