There’s a saying here in east Texas for all of you who don’t have feral hogs….If you don’t see them now, you will. You won’t like it. They don’t care about your pristine lawn or hay meadow. Crops, ha! There’s no getting ready for them either. They just show up and dominate as there are no natural predators.

regardless of these pics came from and how they got here I don't know if anybody ever being lucky enough to run into a pig that friendly. about 99.9% of these pigs are vicious and will attack on site. so if you ever come across one I wouldn't recommend doing with these guys did but then again they were very fortunate enough to come across a super friendly one like I said I've never seen this nor have I heard of this happening to anybody up until right now seeing this video

I’ve hunted them in Georgia, and I never had a wild hog walk out the brush, and roll over for a belly rub. 🤔

When DeSoto was exploring our continent he brought an Army and a big herd of hogs. These hogs along the way broke away from the herd as DeSoto was fighting with local Indians in what is now Alabama and other parts of the south. Those hogs today are descendants of DeSotos hogs. If you read Picketts History of Alabama it was an interesting and violent time. He took Indians as slaves. DeSoto took Chief Tuskaloosa as a Prisoner.

That’s not a hog. It is a Peccary, also known as Javelina. Still odd behavior whatever you call it. So tame- put a collar on it and make it a good home.❤️👍🏻🇺🇸

This one can't be wild 😨.!!. They Will Not walk up to a human like this. They are very violent and dangerous. If it's wild, they been feeding it and keeping it from the herd. Wild bores I've seen never act like this 😲.!!.

I enjoy hunting ferals with a big ol' Bowie knife, down in Texas. Equally fun, night sniping, and helicopter AR'ing. I've trapped em, bow hunted em, and speared a few. It doesn't even put a dent in the population, or their population growth. They DESTROY huge swaths of crops.

I don't give a f*** what nobody says that is a wild hog but somebody has domesticated him I trapped wild hog and you can domesticate them my daughter used to do it all the time she had him living in the house and they would go outside she's trained him to go outside and go potty

These things are horrible in South Georgia. They ruin crops, fencing, and deer trails. It’s always hog season here. I think the state pays for you for every hog-not sure. Georgia does pay money to you for every coyote too. Invasive species and dangerous species.
