Religion should not be , in school curriculum, Public school's are for teaching basic knowledge in all categories, religion should take place at home or in church. Don't shove your beliefs down other children that are not yours.

No this is no longer required of Oklahoma’s teachers!!!!! We got our illegal & immoral state Superintindent resigned under request of by most of the teachers, principals & parents!!!! They are in the process of undoing the mess that walters made of the school system in Oklahoma!!!!! We now have a decent & knowledgeable person in place!!!!! Things will be getting better soon!!!!! If anybody hears about ryan walters trying to sell your school systems anything, shut him down!!! He is going into the private sector of education!!!!!
When I was in school MANY years ago, the students that were interested in religious instruction left school early on Wednesdays to attend classes at their church.
How can they teach about the Bible without the knowledge themselves,you can’t open the Bible and just read it without knowing anything about spiritual knowledge because the Bible unlike any other book,the Bible was written to the hearts of born again spirit filled Christian believers who have a relationship with Jesus Christ and God the father.it’s not like any other book which can be used for understanding and learning but the Bible was written by the Holy Spirit through the hearts of men who were followers of Jesus Christ. The Bible is not a science book or a magic book it’s Jesus Christ made alive through the holy written word of God

All of chump bibles are going back where they came from!!!! History requirements & standards are all being rewritten!!!! Hopefully education in our state will be much improved!!! walters is just a horrible educator & he is just a chump wannabe!!! Another good reason to stay away from Oklahoma. The state has absolutely no respect for our constitution regarding freedom of religion. If they want to teach the Bible in school, then they also need to teach the holy books of every other religion: Shinto, Buddhism, Islam, Jainism, Confucianism, Baha’i, Taoism, etc., etc. Stay away from Oklahoma !
