ive stood on top of alot of ladders. im all for safety and know better but sometimes you just have to, to get the job done. stand forward not sideways my man. you are asking to tip it over on a 12ft.

I had to do the exact same thing my first day as an apprentice electrician, except there was no wall. I had to put in bulbs in the fixtures that were about 3 feet over my head standing on the top of ladder like that. Talk about having some wobbly legs. It sucked. But hey , over 25 years later and still in the trade

12' ladder needs a 16' . Believe it or not the ladder that has the most deaths is a 6 foot ladder because of confidence

Not all men are clumsy and fall off ladders, some of us do this type stuff our entire career. I get it some guys are feminized and are unwilling to do what it takes to get the job done. But men like this do their job fast and gracefully every day.

I had to use a ladder that high just to water plants because some architects thought it would be really cool to put shelves 14' up and then put live plants in them

His 3 contact points are, two feet on the top cap of the ladder and one elbow against the wall. All he is missing is the dunce hat on his head.

I believe it’s a 12-16’ ladder. For me because I have balance issues, that scares me to death! He has nothing to hang on to if he did fall!

if you MUST stand at the very top, never stand sideways. The most imbalanced way to stand. Also, use an extension ladder. much safer and more stable
