this happens so many times yet it's completely avoidable .. my neighbor had three large pine trees taken down he had hired professionals but after watching them he decided to do the last tree himself. He climbed up went to secure his harness slipped fell broke his neck and died 🤦

Palm trees are worthless. With the exception of date or coconut. They provide almost no shade, they do attract lightening, and they are extreme fire hazards.

Tree trimmers get up under the dead palm fronds, and cut them from below. Sometimes they don't fall individually, and a whole crown of them will fall as a unit. It pushes the tied I trimmer backwards, and the weight of the fronds pushing on his chest suffocates him. Kinda rare, but it happens in L.A. a few times a year. Just ask any fire department personnel who work there.
