You need to do this at many park trail heads to keep smaller animals from chewing the crap out of your car interior and wiring harness while your hiking and camping for days I have roll of 1/2" mesh 2'X50' and ten fiberglass snow stakes for my van.... leaving food and waste all over the place brings in generations of well fed rodents, squirrels and skunks
