Jesus was a Jewish man born in Judea under Roman rule. While Bethlehem is in the area now called Palestine, the term ‘Palestinian’ didn’t exist as a national identity back then. Calling Jesus ‘Palestinian’ today is a modern framing of a historical fact, not a literal truth.
