if that is true that would be the actual first in history. according to a coroner I knew, that isn't possible unless your really really psychotic. there's a survival instinct built in us. you can't hang yourself till death if your feet can touch anything. even your tippy toes. humans can't cut their own throat. wow I'm going to see if that held true. if it did this is fake.

A man named Aubrey Trail slit his own throat in a Saline County, Nebraska, courtroom during his murder trial in June 2019. Trail, who was on trial for the murder and dismemberment of 24-year-old Sydney Loofe, used an unknown object (possibly a piece of a razor blade or pen) to cut his neck while a witness was testifying. He yelled, "Bailey [Boswell, his co-defendant] is innocent and I curse you all," before falling from his wheelchair. He was immediately swarmed by security, taken to a hospital for stitches, and survived the self-inflicted injury. His trial resumed the next day with the judge ordering him to be in handcuffs for the remainder of the proceedings. Trail, who was 52 years old, was subsequently convicted and sentenced to death. The incident happened during his trial, not after receiving the death penalty sentence itself.
