the air bag systems has deceleration sensor along with impact sensors and also seat pressure sensors which all have to be activated at a specific collision speed deceleration and impact to deploy the air bag and seat belt retractors. That's why a vehicle in front of you at stop light backing into you won't deploy the air bag causing injury!

This isn鈥檛 how it works at all. Airbags are designed to detonate under very controlled circumstances. Certain speeds and parameters have to be met. This is completely false.

All necessary criteria needs to be met prior to airbag deployment . The crash sensor is a ramped mercury switch that requires a certain amount of inertia prior to completing a circuit, besides other critical information that all needs be in place. This guy should read a little more about the airbag system, we were made to remove and deploy them prior to shipping and used a plunger box that鈥檚 similar to setting a dynamite charge
