That's not at all how you're supposed to do that!🤣🤣🤣

If you’re going to demonstrate how to install a wire on a breaker then please demonstrate the correct way. Now, someone who doesn’t know what they are actually doing will end up using a ground wire on a breaker and that’s incorrect. Even if you are doing it for demonstrating purposes only. Think about it. It is like telling someone to put their car in reverse and you intend for them to drive forward. That’s why we have so many unskilled people now is because of B S videos like this and yes I know the content creator just made 5 cents for my comment but it is worth it. If you’re going to train then train properly.

you don't terminate a ground wire on a circuit breaker!

I could’ve had a closed end crimped on and heat shrink on that faster than this job was done.

A bit of resin core solder makes it so much better.

if your going through all that just put and eye on it and crimp it. but most things wire like that is solid and the breaker doesn't have a screw like that in the last 20 years. the only time you use multi strand is the thicker wire for higher voltage and wattage for air conditioner or swimming pool pumps.

when connecting stranded wire under a screw, strip the wire then twist the wire in the opposite direction from the insulation. when you tighten the screw it will not flare out from under the screw

avator

Bad - the insulation cannot expose the conductor outside of the screw housing.

I would fire anyone screwing around that long for a simple termination. But first ask why they are terminating a ground wire on a breaker!

how about tighten all the ends of the wire strands together, with your linesmans. So they don't spread apart under the screw, when it's tightened.
