Darn right! In school it was an honor to learn how to handle and take care of old glory! We saluted it, said the pledge of allegiance every morning. We were patrol boys with ranks! Helped people cross the street. We loved it! We were proud of our country! Today unfortunately our teachers have failed us! Failed our children! Failed our forefathers! you know, I truly believe my generation, Gen x is the last decent generation. one that respects your elders, says yes ma'am yes sir, one who isnt afraid of getting dirty fixing your own shit to save money, one that rather bang it out using your knuckles not bullets, part of a long line of patriotic generations and a generation of fearless free thinking Americans who depend on themselves to build, create, fix, find, love, help, thrive and lead their families into a brave new America. it saddens me to think the generations that came after us and still to come are too damn soft and will ruin what we have here in America; either by giving it to other nations and/or by changing our governing bodies values.

It was that generation and before who made America what it was. It's not the same USA today that it was a long time ago. Not quite as old an can remember what we used to be. This once great nation is being destroyed from the inside out. These days I see nothing but evil and corruption. Everyone wants what suits them best, not what is good for this nation. I was once so proud of this country. Now with how it is, not so much.
