Those old Evinrudes weren't worth the cost of the WD-40 it would have taken to try and make them (or maybe even just one) run. They weren't worth it when they were new, not even close now that even Dory would know better than to try and hide even close to one of those. And the guy who was under impression that it's GOT to be a drug runners boat because no one would put two engines on a vessel that small, they would have to put two engines on any boat they were going to take out far enough to not see land. Either that or a couple dozen guys with REALLY BIG arms that knew how to row fast enough and long enough to make shore before the Coast Guard some responsible boater called in to report a boatload of stupid tourists who went out with a single ooolllldd Evinrude and when it died (which EVERYONE knew was gonna happen) it was time to haul out the emergency back up power source. Yep those big brawny boys who thought they were going out for a free boat ride.

Thats definitely a drug runners vessel. A boat wouldn't normally have two engines like that for a relatively small boat. They need to haul ass and not be seen though. A lot of times after they unload their shipment they just ditch the boat. Shxt sometimes they will sink the boat with the drugs still on board and mark it in GPS for them to pick up. Or put like a tracker thing in the boat. But ya, I Guarantee this is a drug runners vessel. They probably stole the boat and motors anyways so they could care less. 🤷♂️✌️
I'd call the coast guard and tell them that if they can come out here and cut this off my motors because they caused it . And I'm glad they did or hope they caught someone. Not downing the USCG
If this was in the Gulf of Mexico, I'd say that was a drug running sniff. I also heard of people finding contraband from Texas to Florida.

nah, probably scuttled by its owner. happens all the time. needed repairs would cost more than the boat is worth. Disposal of an unsalvageable boat ain't cheap. Just need a buddy with a boat and a shotgun to breech the hull. CYA.
