My wife has been doing that for the past 3 or 4 years. They have even stopped by to get a treat when they weren't delivering to our house. We don't care because they are working hard and we appreciate them
we do that for Nov and Dec ...they love it 👍our way of saying thank you 💕
I've been doing this for years. Whenever a delivery person comes we always offer them a variety of drinks and snacks. We even ask them if they need to go to the bathroom! We appreciate the work they do and try to bring a Smile to their faces. 🌸💕 We Also have bags that have t shirts, socks, hats, gloves and healthy snacks. if we see someone that looks like they need a little help, we stop and give them the bags. There are so many we all could help without giving them money. The smile and thanks we get in return days it all. 💕

I put a bottle of Gatorade on the top of my garbage container for the driver(it’s a one man system now) because their job is so difficult and thankless, especially here in Florida where it’s so hot and rainy. He is so thankful he always waves with a smile and he even rolls the can back up to garage door. Everyone wins!
I put put cases of water in a cooler for the mailman and ups. drivers they deliver alot of my va supplies
my grandmother use to leave a lollipop on the mailbox for the carrier as a way to say thank you!

I can’t do that because I live in a building that has multiple apartments, but I do say prayers for all mail delivery person.
In Vegas where it hits 124F, we have a small hotel room size cooler that is filled with the finest Electrolyte Water, Gatorade, Pedialite, and frozen snickers bars. UDPS-UPS-AMAZON take as much as you need! God bless you all. 🙏

I do the same! I've been doing this for over six months now. I wanted a way to say "Thank you" for their hard work. Plus, in the summertime, it's gets very warm, so I put the drinks with ice packs. Just my opinion! 🙂🐸

I have a cooler with water bottles on hot days.
I wouldn't risk it. I wouldn't want to be responsible for someone trustingly eating or drinking something a psychopath had snuck up on the porch and poisoned. I used to put a sign out offering free fruit from our tree.It was fine the first two years but as soon as I saw the psychopath next door and his girlfriend, who liked to poison birds and animals, messing with the tree, I stopped offering fruit. Within a couple years. he had put so much poison on the tree, the tree died. I couldn't prove a thing.
