How about when there is a government shutdown Congress does not get paid until they go back to work. Whoever advocates for a minimum wage ( ie $7.50) should have to attempt to live on that wage for 3 months. Actually start from scratch. Find their own apartment, medical, utilities, acquire a car, maintain it, , gas , auto insurance, groceries, credit card(s) if they qualify, clothing , and entertainment, WiFi ( most bills are paperless), and entertainment. And establishing a savings account. They can invest if they can budget it without the inside info they are afforded as a congressional person. Same healthcare options that they offer the regular American!

We should also pass a law that we don't give one cent to a foreign country or illegal immigrant until every American has a house, job, social security, health care and no crazy debt. We have spent Trillions in other countries while Americans got poorer and poorer! Also tax Billionaires at 91% and watch almost every problem in America solved. If you feel bad that some Billionaire would only have 30 billion instead of 300 you are part of the problem. That was the tax rate on the rich when America was the best place to live in!
