I cannot lie… On August 12, 1963, not 1964 Bernie was charged with resisting arrest for his role in Chicago protests against the use of “Willis Wagons.” He was found guilty and paid a fine of $25. The “Willis Wagons” were named for Chicago Public Schools superintendent Benjamin Willis. They were actually placed to keep black students from attending white schools (basically). Even though I don’t like sanders and his socialism, I believe he did the right thing at that point in time. So stop the bs and tell the truth.
