Step boyfriends should not discipline kids, especially pushing them around. Some of that kids problems could have been caused by constant negative imput. That kid does need help, but pushing him around isn't the way. Anger teaches anger. Positive reinforcement and redirecting him for the future will make him a good man.
Good example of what us men go through when trying to raise a boy into a man. it's not easy. Sometimes best thing to do is what the man did ...move on.
