I won't jump with my 22 Silverado. I do carry a jump box. Electronics are too expensive for jumping a vehicle.

Battery to battery. Not ground to frame. Wrong !

do not clamp the the vehicles body. the tiny thin ground from the vehicles chassis to battery will fry and could catch fire. battery to battery. connect only.

the jumper vehicle should be running! as you connect both positive and negative to the dead car then connect both positive and negative to the running car! y'all don't listen to this moron!

that last black to frame may not work on a painted surface, ( maybe press and jiggle to scratch through paint).

if you are following this advice I would recommend not to jump batteries. if the bad battery is very low it could reduce the voltage of the good battery and possibly not start the jumper engine.
