There’s no excuse for political violence of any kind, let alone assassinating someone for political speech. Protecting speech is protecting democracy… So it’s less about YOUR right to speech, but you defending your worst enemy’s right to publicly say things you find morally reprehensible. As someone capable of empathy & compassion, my heart goes out to Charlie’s wife, his kids & his family & friends. But there’s no 🌎 where we let them use this tragedy to gaslight Charlie into Sainthood. Nope.
