the entry wound was actually on the right side of his head around the ear. it's a small entry wound but the exit wound on the left was much bigger which was all that force and from hitting that artery. he bled out but died pretty much instantly is what I'm hearing. the shooter was actually up in the black window towards the right of his pop up a couple stories up. that makes more sense than it coming straight at his neck on the left.

for all y'all saying he was a good shooter no. he wasn't. he didn't shoot that good, because he didn't calculate drop factor or anything. it was a shot and a prayer. According to a general ballistics chart, a .30-06 round with a 18in barrel, a 200-yard zero might drop about 3.7 inches at 200 yards and 13.4 inches at 300 yards. not knowing exact load specifics and using averages. so what happened was he got his daddy's gun and just pulled the trigger and effectively hoped and prayed. this wasn't a sophisticated hit or anything of the sword. it was a disgruntled person that just happened to get the shot.
what happened to the back of his neck? exit wound? if he was hit with a 30 06 the back of his neck would have been blown apart?
