That rusty water isn't a sign of a bad sprinkler system! It's just iron deposits that accumulate in pipes over time. When you disturb the line by changing heads, it kicks up all that settled sediment. Run it for a minute to flush clean water through.

I see the system hasn't been flushed. that needs to happen. And, the inspection will fail if you haven't done it. clogged up sprinkler heads don't put fires out

Had a guy coming down on a scissor lift rip a head off on the 2 ND floor of a mall it was a shit show this stuff came out for 4 min as the entire system in RUE 21 went off them only the fire department had the key to shut it off so we stood there in the pouring sprinklers for 20 mins trying to keep the water from going down to the 1st floor that held a Memorabilia shop with 10s of thousands dollars worth of crap.
