93 year old Aunt still rides a Harley stays by herself cooks cleans goes shopping buys her food her jeans and longevity is due to I believe not eating sugar. She don’t eat sweet stuff.
When I was a teen, we had an elderly neighbor that my dad would always go and get. She was just a little slip of a woman, I remember one day when the winds were really bad before the tornado came through that he had to hold onto her because the wind was blowing her down the sidewalk away from our home. I miss her she was a special lady. Her and my parents are both gone now, good memories of all of them.

in 1983 the storm hitting Clearwater Beach was completely calm at 3 am however at 3 30 am we were chest deep in sea water this elderly woman died because she was trapped in her house and the flooding caused a fi there and she didn't drown if you understand me God rest her soul!!!

I took care of little dementia woman. The sirens were blasting. I called her and asked what should she do? she said " well ill go to my basement. You don't have a basement. I went to her house. we both sat in the tub.

My M-i-L lived by herself into her late 90's. Then she lived with us. We took her everywhere (church, boat rides in her wheelchair, out to eat, to the hair dresser.) I appreciated the respect people showed her. She gave her life to Jesus the year before she passed away at 105!🙏💕

I think more people need to see that things like this are far far more important than what people are focusing in society today. whoever you are that did this, thank you for lighting a tad bit of Hope in me.
My grandmother lived alone until she was 96. She fell and broke her hip. Her grandson who lived next door, found her and picked her up and took her to the hospital. She lived in an assisted living facility after that but actually enjoyed it there because she made new friends. Also her daughter and another grandson worked there. She had a lot of family visit her every week.

I have wonderful memories of an older couple that lived next door to us! Mr. & Mrs. Harmon, they use to give me Kennedy Silver Dollars for my birthday and told me my hair looked like strains of gold! They were so good to me…and all the neighborhood kids!
