Thirty-nine months for my Dad in WWII. From N Africa to Sicily to mainland Italy to France to Germany and Austria. He was seriously wounded twice from shrapnel, but they patched him up and shipped him back to the battles. He got a Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and various other medals and citations. But he said that his greatest accomplishment was simply surviving because he saw so many of his fellow soldiers who didn't.

My Dad was in WWII right after Basic sent to the Philippines Three and a half years and Japan for six months before he made it home.

oif or oef 1 was Iraq war it lasted from 1 month after Valentine's Day till the end of May then they told us the "war" was over and now we are on a humanitarian mission except for the 3 day war in Usaba, and the month war of falusha< idk
