Growing up as a Jehovah's Witness was not easy nor fun. We couldn't do nothing. I mean absolutely nothing! Couldn't join extracurricular activities because that was "bad association". Couldn't watch disney movies because magic was demonic. Couldn't celebrate my birthday and accept gifts. Just Couldn't do shit but it did give me morals to live by. That I will say. However, I will not force religion on my children. I'll simply teach them about right and wrong and if they have questions about God, I'll answer as best as I can. That upbringing took away a lot of time that I can never get back.

I grew up as a JEHOVAH Witness and I’m so grateful my Mom taught me the truth, when I made it to the 12 grade she said I carry you far enough, it’s your choice to decide what you want to be in Life, but whatever you decide I will always Love you. We didn’t celebrate holidays, we get gifts through out the year , my Dad after 68 years started studying the Bible and became a JEHOVAH WITNESS . I don’t let what people say bother me because if I’m following Bible standards I’m making JEHOVAH and Jesus heart rejoice. I’m so happy that I chose the good Life by following Bible principles, after all Jesus set the perfect example for all of us to follow.
If you EVER make the mistake of opening your door to them once, they will show up time & time again. Even the “No Solicitation” signs on your door don’t help.

I hate when people come knocking on my door determined to change my belief. No matter what you say they won't stop nor leave. I was raised Catholic. So both of my parents were Catholic. One time I had a auntie visiting. I had moved back into my mom's to care for her. And her sister came to visit and help me out with my mom for a couple of weeks. My auntie was a nun and one day we had just gotten home from the store and I noticed some Jehovah witnesses 2 house's down so I was trying to hurry and finish unloading the groceries before they reached my mom's house because I didn't feel like dealing with them. But no such luck. They started their talking and preaching as I was walking back in the house. They didn't care that I said I was busy and didn't have time they just kept on talking. And then my aunt asked what was going on and I told her so she said. Oh ok well sweetie they want to talk about God so let me talk to them. BOY DID SHE EVER TALK ABOUT GOD.

I nearly stabbed a Jahovas Witness 1 time after being jumped and robbed at gunpoint by 4 punkass yns back in the 90s. It was about a week after when I'm walking to work , a nervous wreck packing a big steak knife for protection when this guy pulls into the gas station ahead of me , gets out of his car and starts walking towards me , looking at me and I pulled out my steak knife.
