caught a water moccasin when I was 14. he kept coming after I stopped reeling... I let him have the fish and the pole... never fished in that pond again. Dad was mad about losing his favorite pole. told him he could get the pole back ... he bought me a new one and a pair of scissors... said cut the line cause hooks and bobbins are cheap.
