Why put the bolts up from the bottom? So if they loosen up for any strange reason, they fall out?

hard to stay "grounded" with your feet so far from the ground. always heard this was very dangerous I mean forget the fact the helicopter is what's lifting it comes with so many variables. you being so high up in the air forget that too. you have to worry about static electricity building up from the helicopter and make sure you are grounded to prevent getting shocked. ya this takes the cake right here...

Exactly. That’s how we grounded helicopters dropping mail bags on our ship without landing on the pad.

They really have to trust in the pilot. Also, I would hope they're getting paid MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF MONEY, considering the multiple ways they can lose their life while performing their duties

Just watched new radar systems being transported by helicopter around the Appalachia foothills. Specialized radar for low flying under the radar attack craft meant to pick up drones to missiles

bolts on towers always face up unless he doesnt have a " spud". then he's pegging it until all 4 bolt holes align then flip the over when it it gets its final torquing.

How much are these dudes salaries??? Id work with them. My position would be in the ground, making sure its str8 and lined up right. Ill also grab any bolts and washers that were dropped. I could definitely work with them

the wire is a ground to touch the incoming part with a ground first, standard practice when doing any sling loads from a helicopter
