This happened in vegas there was still two kids in the car and a dog when the cop opened fire he shot green in the torso. Green was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges including two counts of attempted murder with a deadly weapon and three counts of child abuse or neglect, with additional charges pending, records showed.

I don't think he came back to hit the cop. he came back to pick up his girlfriend. the girlfriend was trying to go back into the car after the kid fell out. he slowed down almost to a complete stop before the cop started shooting. the cop got startled because he didn't see him until he was right there and his first reaction without thinking was to shoot. if the guy wanted to run the cop over he would have, they didn't see or expect him to come back around like that
